Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 2026
Hear their Heart respects your privacy. This page explains, in plain language, what information we collect through this site and how we use it.
What we collect
- Story submissions: the story you write, and your name and email only if you choose to provide them.
- Contact messages: your name, email, and message.
- Basic technical data: standard server logs (like IP address and browser type) generated by normal web traffic.
How we use it
We use what you submit to respond to you, to understand the needs of the people we serve, and, only with your explicit consent, to share (anonymized) parts of stories publicly to help others feel less alone. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with third parties for marketing.
Donations
Donations are processed directly by PayPal. We don't receive or store your payment card or bank details, PayPal's own privacy policy governs that information.
Cookies and local storage
We use minimal, functional cookies (for basic site security) and your browser's local storage (to remember your light/dark mode preference). We don't use advertising or tracking cookies.
Your choices
You can share a story anonymously by leaving your name and email blank. You can ask us to review, correct, or delete information you've submitted at any time by contacting us at support@heartheirheart.com.
